Ever since I was a teenager, my favorite question to my peers was “What’s your kwento?” In English, kwento means story. I was eager to know what was happening in their lives. Now, almost four decades later, it has dawned on me that even at a young age, I was drawn to people’s stories—to what makes them tick. My curiosity sought something deeper than what met the eye. I must admit, I have a penchant for raw, unfiltered stories, because through them, I’ve captured fragments of truth, emotion, and experience. Without realizing it, my fondness for stories has transformed me into a storyteller, turning my passion into books and screenplays. May my stories captivate you, and in reading them, I hope you catch a glimpse of my imagination and soul.
